$100 Challlenge

January 10th: Came up with 5 business idea. That part is actually a little difficult, but we did it.

January 15th: Out of our many ideas, we finally narrowed down our idea to one. The idea that we choose was throwing a party. I don't know how well that's going to work out, but we'll see.

January 17th: A little earlier, Brother Nygren pulled us aside and informed us that an idea of an event would be very difficult because if it's a flop, it's going to be very difficult to come up with a good enough second event. So after thinking for a while, we decided to do "Sweet Heart Melodies" where we sing to people and give them cookies. We also designed our action plan for our business and rewrote our business plan for Sweet Heart Melodies.

February 7th: We all got together and created a plan on how we are going to market this as well as picked a bunch of songs that we could sing to people. Total, we have 2 customers that are interested. We need to pick this up. We also printed tons of fliers for this and I went out and handed a bunch out to random people and around my complex.

February 8th: At work, I spread the word, I got a couple of guys from work to do it too!

February 11th: We are getting awfully close to Valentines day and haven't made that much money at all. So I told the group that we could start selling hats along with the idea, so now we are going to start marketing hats. I just happen to have a small inventory of 90 to 100 hats that we could use for this project. They were given as a gift.

February 13th: What I did today was I hit the streets and made $30. I promoted the Sweet Heart Melodies, but I also extended the business to selling hats as a side project. I am expecting to earn over $100 for my efforts tonight! Wahoo, it's going to be good!

February 19th: Jenifer and I went out to the streets and starting knocking for a couple of hours. That was very effective, we made an additional $37 dollars

February 21st: I have been organizing the hats and trying to figure out better ways to market further so we can get a few more customers.
