Random Facts

Most people don't remember those random facts in the moment that they need them. For example I can't ever remember a story from my childhood in the moment that someone asks me about my childhood. It seems like either when the moment has already passed or completely out of context moment, I remember.

  1. Memorization: Repetition is among the least effective ways of memorization. Emotional connections is the best form of memorization. Example of "Emotional Connection" is if you are trying to memorize your shopping list, picture a place that you have strong emotional connections with. Your bedroom is a good one. Now picture your shopping list in random places in your room, such as placing a bag of potato on your pillow or bananas from your light, picture baking soda placed on top of your doorknob. This takes concentration and an imagination, but it's among the most effect forms of memorization.
  2. Simplicity is becoming the theme of the new day. Let that be a theme for our lives.
